Shatavari roots are used in Ayurvedic medicine for hormonal balance, lactation support, menstrual health, and as a general tonic and adaptogen. Roots are dried and powdered into Shatavari churna.
Soak seeds in water for 24 hours before sowing. Plant 1–2 cm deep in well-drained, loamy soil. Keep moist and in warm conditions (25–32°C). Germination takes 14–21 days.
