Growing & Establishment

Shrub and climber seeds are best raised in nursery trays or polybags before transplanting to the field. Most species prefer full sun and well-drained soils. Scarification of hard seed coats improves germination speed significantly. Transplanting during or immediately after the monsoon gives best field establishment under Indian growing conditions.

Use in India

Native shrubs and climbing plants are increasingly valued in Indian landscape design, urban greening projects, and ecological restoration work. Many species in this category are important components of traditional village hedgerows, provide habitat and food for wildlife, and serve multiple ecological roles in farm boundaries and degraded land rehabilitation.

Seeds are sourced from established natural populations and cultivation zones across India. ISF-certified quality control. Bulk quantities are available for landscape contractors, nurseries, and ecological restoration programmes.
